Landscapes

This new collection of works on paper and framed paintings capture the seasonal shift from the warm pinks of late summer to the rich autumnal ochres of October. Studies of the landscape along the Penwith and spots close to my studio, sit alongside paintings of interior spaces, full of colour and composition. The collection has evolved from time spent at the beach hut on Porthgwidden as well as studio days, where still life compositions have formed. Days in St Ives are often paired with a coffee at St Eia, a favourite spot close to Porthmeor, so several of these paintings draw on their interior space - jugs of blooms, bowls of lemons and views through the window.
